QR Code Access
Scan QR codes to open your app or Studio on any device on the same network.
QR Code Access
The QR Code panel gives you two QR codes — one for your application and one for the Studio dashboard — so you can instantly open either on a mobile device or tablet connected to the same network.
Opening QR Access
Click QR Access in the sidebar.
App QR Code
The first QR code encodes your application URL:
Scan this with your phone camera to open your API in the browser. Useful for:
- Testing mobile-specific behaviour
- Checking API responses on a real device
- Sharing a quick link with a teammate on the same Wi-Fi
Studio QR Code
The second QR code encodes the Studio URL:
Scan this to open the full Studio dashboard on a tablet or second device.
Copy URL
Each QR card has a Copy URL button that copies the URL to your clipboard.
Network Information
Below the QR codes, a summary shows:
| Label | Value |
|---|---|
| Application URL | http://localhost:3000 |
| Studio Port | :3001 |
| Studio URL | http://localhost:3001 |
Important: Same Network Required
QR codes use localhost addresses which only work when the scanning device is on the same local network as your development machine.
For remote access, use a tunnel tool like ngrok:
Then manually share the ngrok URL.
QR Generation
QR codes are generated server-side using the qrcode npm package. If the package is not installed, the Studio QR panel shows:
